WOMEN IN POLICING

The Burlington Police actively seeks to diversify its ranks and is committed to having women be part of the law enforcement team. Women are afforded the same opportunities as male officers, and often find policing a rewarding and exciting career. Women currently hold command positions within the Department as well as Firearms Instructors, Detectives, Hostage Negotiators, and Patrol Officers.
